I really liked this overlapping of two photographs. It is interesting how it blurred the lines of the foreground and background. On their own these two photos would have interesting framing, but together there is that much more to take in. I also like all the vertical lines created by the tools in this as well. The fire is pointing to the top right corner, from the base of the flame is another black and orange tool thats pointing down to the right hand corner, and finally a combination of his arm and some other tool are pointing upwards again.
The angle of this photograph is perfect-it seems like you took the picture from his shoulder looking down at what his hands are doing. Also everything but the man is blurred-the eye is immediately drawn to the bright orange flame since it is the most vibrant color in the photograph spanning almost 2/3 of the picture since it was taken so close up. Your photographs are really good its cool you used such a different technique and approached the project differently. Im curious what the photograph would have looked like if it were taken from further away...what the flame's size is relative to the mans size. Jordan M
I love the way you have overlapped the two pictures here. The piece of glass and the glass blower go hand in hand and it is a very unique approach to this piece of art. I also really like the angle of which you took the picture. It is very intriguing how it is so close to the glass blower which is obviously not possible due to the heat and fire.
